hel-lo It's finally here!  You spoke, and I listened!

We've redone the community from the ground up, to give you more of what you asked for, making it easier for everyone (especially me), and bringing more of you behind the scenes with me.  It's exciting and new, and guaranteed to keep me on my toes!

I look forward to sharing my thoughts, observations, and all manner of what goes on in my world— take a look at my photos from Ghana!— perhaps it will spur some conversation amongst you.  My hope is that you'll make new friends, maybe even learn a thing or two (I used to be a teacher you know, or did you?) and generally have a good time as we grow this community together.
